Last Minute Preppers Prior to Impending Disasters – Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late!

Why Wait When You Can Already be Prepared?

Last minute preppers are always out there before a storm.

Stories like this can teach us a lot.

  • If there is a warning prior to a SHTF event, then the stores are going to be empty in a matter of days, possibly hours.
  • Fuel will be one of the first things to go. Don’t think you’ll just go get gas from a pump. Even if you can get them working, they’re probably going to be empty.
  • People will go crazy once essentials are gone. I recommend looking at our article What Do You Do If You’re Caught In a Riot? – 12 Tips to Survive Social Unrest

It’s funny that every time we get a snowstorm, you turn on the news hear the meteorologists talking about the amount we can expect to see and you inevitably see people rush out to get the staples. As the saying goes, it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

Gas is the number one thing people were stopping in at Stewart’s for.

On an average day, the manager of the Newton Plaza location in Latham tells us on average they go through 6,000 gallons of gas a day, well in the past 18 hours they’ve already had two deliveries.

You want to make sure you check the windshield washer fluid level and your tire pressure because the last thing you want is to be stuck on the side of the road with a flat.

People were going in and out of the store to buy milk, eggs, bread, the essentials but one surprising item – ice cream.

A lot of parents buying pints and half gallon ice cream for Wednesday, just in case their children are stuck home with a snow day.

Paula Stitt, a manager of nine years with Stewart’s told us she’s from Southern Ontario, Canada, so for her a couple of inches is nothing to worry about.
